I was introduced to Mr Maksoud through a private recommendation from a consultant after a body scan revealed a cancerous lump on my thyroid. This was subsequently removed and I returned to Mr Maksoud after my health plummeted. I have a complex health history and had for many years unsuccessfully sought treatment in both the NHS and Private sectors. Immediately his caring and sympathetic manner put me at ease and more importantly he listened. He looked at me holistically, as a person with a lifestyle, rather than as a patient file. Dr Maksoud was very professional in his approach to my Thyroid issue taking myself through the process step by step making sure that I understood the implications of short term - and - longer term outcomes. Dr Maksoud was very reassuring as we worked through the Thyroid issue from day 1 until the treatment came to a natural conclusion, his ability to translate to a layman`s language via conversation and drawings was excellent. I always felt confident that whatever the next course of treatment to follow was backed up by factual information that Dr Maksoud presented to me via the written e - mails of the last examination and the next course qualifying this in depth in the e mail I always received shortly after the consultation.

I was referred to Dr Maksoud in 2013 after being misdiagnosed by GPs for a number of years. Dr Maksoud is so thorough in his approach to diagnosing any problems. Instead of looking at symptoms in isolation, like GPs do, he looks as the whole body. From my experience hormone problems have a knock on effect with all parts of the body. I was diagnosed with multiple issues but Dr Maksoud always spends lots of time explaining problems, he is so easy to communicate with and makes you feel totally at ease. Dr Maksoud continues to support me to this day. After going through cancer treatment 2-3 years ago Dr Maksoud has helped with the side effects of this and the difficult recovery. I always refer to Dr Maksoud as my guardian angel, he literally saved my life. I am a great advocate of him and would have no hesitation in recommending him to friends and family.

Dr Maksoud simply granted me a completely different life. Life in which I can wear any dress I like, move freely, establish new personal relationships and just feel in a different way. I lost around 35 kg, and I am in the process of reaching my desired weigh. In my past, I tried several doctors, tried all possible diets, sporting, but nothing worked in a long run, or at least was not so effective. With Dr Maksoud I receive extremely professional, efficient and safe medical treatment. So, if you want to change your life, this is the way.
